Welcome to St.Joseph International School,Rajapalayam

St. Joseph International School is a Co - Educational English Medium School, Affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education New Delhi, situated at Rajapalayam to Thirunelveli Bye Pass. The School was founded by Rev. Fr. Dr. J.E.Arul Raj, OMI and is run by the Society of DMI Catholic Sisters (Daughters of Mary Immaculate) which is known for its selfless service through educational institutions. It is full pledged school with classes from Pre-KG to Grade IX and XI

The Society of Daughters of Mary Immaculate and Collaborators (DMI) was founded in the year 1984 by Rev.Fr. J.E. Arul Raj , at Keechalam, a remote village in Thiruvallur District, Tamil Nadu, India.

Sr. M. Virgin is the co-foundress of DMI, MMI and AMI. She stood by the Founder along with the Founding Members of the Society in building up of DMI, MMI and AMI. She reached her heavenly abode on 11th January 2013.

Application form is granted from Classes Pre.K.G to IX. Parents seeking admission for their children have to get the prescribed application form from the School Office. Application form for admission will be issued from January to April.

The School recognizes the importance of recreational activities, indoor and outdoor games for the proper development of a child. The school has spacious grounds for football, volley ball, throw-ball, tennis, and badminton. Indoor games include carom, chess etc., Besides students are trained for athletics – there are a standard 400 meter 8 – lane track and gymnastics. Trained professional personnel are available for coaching in several sporting activities..
